About Ridgian Connect

Ridgian Connect was started after listening to our Customers telling us that they were finding it difficult to successfully recruit staff with the right level of quality and experience, internally or externally. Our Customers were using the dreaded ‘Recruitment Agency’ words, identifying that they did not really have a technology understanding nor understood their business drivers, focus and culture.
Ridgian Connect offers a ‘boutique’ style of recruitment, reactionary to Customer’s demands in the respect of not marketing or chasing vacancies, simply working in partnership with our existing Customers to match a resource requirement to those skills that an individual has within our network in the industry.
We do not want you to think of us as a recruitment agency but as a resource that is always there for you, to act as an extension to the project services that we have worked on with you already. In every sense we can truly become your recruitment partner. For Customers, we will be honest if we think your job specification is unrealistic and unlikely to attract the best. For candidates, we will be frank if we believe your expectations are too high.
We aim to succeed by offering a quality driven, value for money process and candidates, an in-depth understanding of your business, the vacancy and the industry which you are potentially going to be working in. Our process generally follows the structure below:
  • We concentrate on working in Partnership with our Clients and work with a small number of businesses on an intimate basis, focusing on their individual requirements. We endeavour to gain a full understanding of our Clients business, technical environment and culture
  • The service involves an initial meeting, where we will review the assignment and can advise on the job profiles, candidate specifications and remuneration packages. This is followed by a comprehensive advertising, response handling, pre-selection, interviewing and short-listing process
  • You will be provided with your own dedicated Client Manager; an experienced professional who will be your single point of contact 
  • Your Managing Consultant has 14 years IT Recruitment services experience, predominately in the IT Consultancy, Pre-sales, Professional and Managed Services arena
  • Initial requirements gathering
  • Produce / work to a written job description
  • The role is networked, discussed (confidentially), advertised or sent out to key contacts in the industry
  • Candidates are interviewed for the role. Always face to face and primarily on the telephone to assess suitability
  • A short list is produced within 7 working days that we send to you. This shortlist will ONLY contain pre-qualified, employable and credible individuals
  • Once the interviews have taken place, the client feeds back to the managing consultant on the suitability of each candidate. This information is passed back to the candidates
  • At that point our relationship becomes one of candidate and offer management to ensure that each party arrives at common ground in the shortest amount of time
  • Each applicant that is placed takes part in a ‘People Feedback report’. This identifies where successful candidates thought we did a good job, where we made a difference and where we could improve our services.
