In October 2007, Ridgian completed a web development project allowing waste delivery to landfill sites to be managed over the Internet. The application provides for Local Authorities to authorise vehicles to tip waste. It exposes a web service interface which allows details of each weigh in and disposal to be received from existing software on the premises at landfill sites. Reports on waste management activity are available through the web site. 

Ridgian’s Aspire technology was instrumental in rapid development of the application. Aspire also includes embedded SQL Server Reporting Services, allowing the flexibility of an advanced reporting package within a standard Internet web site.
