Jewish Care (JC) is a charitable organisation running over 70 centres and specialist services in the Health and Social Care sector, helping 7000 people each week and employing over 2000 dedicated staff, aided by 2500 volunteers.

We were approached in July 2006 to provide a Business Intelligence solution built on the Microsoft platform. The assignment involved building a prototype and presenting it to senior members of the organisation. We were then asked to implement a live solution for Fundraising, incoporating data from ThankQ (a donations and contact management system aimed at Charitable institutions).

Following successful adoption for fund-raising, we are currently extending the system to include Finance (from Agresso), Care Homes and Day Centres, HR, Legacy, and Complaints. We are building substantial knowledge and understanding of reporting considerations in the care industry, with the work with Jewish Care building on our previous experience with Craegmoor Health.

Microsoft Proclarity was used to deliver reporting information, and the project included formal training of Jewish Care staff in the use of Web Standard and Professional.
