Chevron who are the second-largest integrated energy company in the United States and among the largest corporations in the world approached Ridgian via Microsoft with an urgent business requirement to provide data analysis and reporting capabilities on their SAP sales data.

We worked closely with their development and database team to develop a robust and automated ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) process using Microsoft SQL Server which imported the data into a Data Warehouse with data quality and validation routines exporting queries into Excel. We then created an Analysis Services OLAP cube which securely extracted data from the Data Warehouse and created a platform with associated processes that allows the user community to ask ad-hoc questions of their business data
