| Ridgian build BI and SharePoint platform for Cherwell District Council Ridgian were recently selected by Cherwell DC to deliver their Business Intelligence platform for the reporting of Community Intelligence information hosted within a SharePoint portal. About the Community Intelligence Hub project Through the consolidated approach to data collection and presentation of information to both internal and external audiences, Cherwell will be able to drive operational efficiencies in how resources are used to increase customer satisfaction across a broad range of council responsibilities. The first project area will be 'Safer Communities'.
The main business drivers behind the need for a Community Intelligence Hub (CIH) are:
Government and statutory reporting requirements and duties
Resource allocation - the need to direct limited resources to achieve the greatest effect Monitoring Service Deliver Performance Sharing intelligence within the directorate and with other stakeholders
The target of the CIH project is to deliver an information hub with core data that core operators can access in full. Additional users or partners, and eventually the wider public, may have access to relevant parts within clear rules for accessibility and data security.
