| Ridgian build BI and SharePoint platform for the NHS Ridgian were recently selected by the CBSA to deliver their Business Intelligence platform for the reporting of Commissioning information hosted within a SharePoint portal. About CBSA CBSA supports Primary Care Trusts in facing the challenge of meeting the commissioning agenda in a focussed and innovative way: ensuring the delivery of improvements in patient care and outcomes across the region. They develop the right tools to gain a better understanding of the patient journey and experience locally and regionally so as to equip Primary Care Trusts and GP commissioners with the information and data necessary to make more informed decisions about how they commission services. From the 1st April 2007, 17 Primary Care Trusts in the West Midlands came together to form the Commissioning Business Support Agency to provide: Accurate and timely contract management information for both Practice-Based Commissioners and PCTs to manage secondary care contracts more effectively Direct management support in negotiation and dealing with secondary care providers Supports the work of co-ordinating PCT’s and world class commissioning in the West Midlands Provides acute activity and spending by Practice to support PBC
